HOW DO I CONTACT AFRIQUE CONNECT?
International Goods arrive in Nairobi about 7-10 business days after leaving our U.S warehouse. Once your goods arrive, a member of our dedicated team will contact you by phone or SMS to schedule a pick up or delivery time. If you experience delays in receiving your goods, please contact us immediately, and we will help to confirm the status of your goods. Please note that it is important to order goods for special occasions such as Christmas, Easter, Father’s Day or Mother’s Day, Weddings, and Birthdays well ahead of time (At least 3 weeks early) this is because delays sometimes happen as a result of uncontrollable circumstances such as bad weather, increased volumes (e.g. around the holidays) or inefficiencies at the port of entry or an Act of God.
Local Goods are delivered within 3-5 Business days. If the order is received before 2:00 pm, we try to process, and ship the same day. Local deliveries on average take about 2 business days.
WHERE DO I PICK UP MY SHIPMENT?
When your goods arrive, a member of our team will contact you by email or by phone. We will schedule a pick up at our Nairobi office or we can deliver to your home or office. Afrique Connect delivers country wide; therefore, all deliveries including those outside Nairobi will be shipped via courier service at an extra cost which will be confirmed prior to shipment. HOW DO I PAY FOR MY SHIPMENT?
You can pay for your goods or shipment via MPESA (0790 999 663). You can also pay using your Local Bank VISA card. Become an Afrique Connect member for free, and receive an Afrique Connect card which you can use for all your online purchases. We do not accept CASH payments.
CAN I SHIP ANYTHING?
Unfortunately, some items are restricted from air freight shipping due local shipping regulations. Flammable products such as aerosols, perfumes, alcohol based items, and live animals or plants are examples of restricted goods. If you are not sure whether the item that you’d like to ship is prohibited, please contact us first.
ARE THERE ANY EXTRA CHARGES?
No. All our rates are inclusive of duties, insurance, applicable taxes and shipping costs to Nairobi.
